Structural Model for the Estimation of the Equivalent Permittivity of Nanodielectrics based on Polyethylene and Epoxy Resins

A structural model for the calculation of equivalent permittivity nanocomposites based on low-density polyethylene (LDPE) and epoxy resins (ERs) with inorganic fillers was developed. It assumed that each nanoparticle centered in an interfacial region composed three layers case LDPE-based nanocomposites, two ER-based nanocomposites. The estimation designed flat samples height $g$ , divided into cubes side-length $l$ . Each these contains eight nanoparticles, which are separated from polymer matrix by or layers. Based types concentrations dipoles present layers, relative layer interface can be calculated. By employment a 3D numerical COMSOL, implemented finite element method associated cube, distribution electric field inside cube determined, yields values In order to verify results, LDPE ERs nanofillers (SiO2 Al2O3) determined laboratory experiments. results reveal congruent correlation between computed experimentally nanodielectrics.
